The coffee roasters in our range are popular models among home roasters, which have proven themselves over many years and for which you will find many discussions and tips on the Internet. With these devices you can directly influence the roasting process and they are designed for an even and high-quality roasting - up to 250 grams of coffee in less than 15 minutes. At the same time they are not only suitable for advanced roasters, but also beginners can roast a good coffee at home.
The coffee roasters differ in the way the beans are roasted (Gene CBR 101 by hot air, Hottop roasters by contact in the roasting drum). Both are processes which are also used in the "large", commercial roasting of speciality coffee.
All models comply with CE safety regulations and are guaranteed for 2 years.
Instructions and roasting profiles
For every bean and every roaster, you will find a roasting recommendation in the coffee knowledge section, so that you can already succeed in the first roasts at home.

What is a coffee roaster?
A coffee roaster is a technical device used to dry green coffee with a moisture content of approx. 11% and to process it into roasted coffee that is ready to be enjoyed.
At the same time, coffee roaster is the job title of those who operate the roasting machine.
Do I need a coffee roaster to roast coffee?
Roasting is the dry heating of the coffee beans to about 200°C. This is also possible, for example, in a frying pan. For a good roasting result, however, the coffee must be roasted evenly inside and outside as well as on all sides. The coffee roasters are designed accordingly.
How does a coffee roaster work?
A coffee roaster has the following three functions:
- Supply of heat
- airflow
- Movement of the beans during roasting
In coffee roasters, heat is generated by conduction (contact, e.g. with the roasting drum), convection (hot air flow) and radiation (radiation). Depending on how the roasting machine is constructed, the proportion varies between conduction, convection and radiation.
Is roasting coffee difficult?
Coffee roasting is not difficult. At the same time, the taste of coffee can vary greatly depending on how the coffee was roasted (brightness, temperature curve, air flow curve). The more one deals with roasting and the different green coffees, the more the roasted coffee corresponds to one's own taste.
