Hottop Roaster KN-8828B-2K+ includes

• 2 thermometers (Dual K thermocouple), one for bean temperature and one for ambient temperature
• Both automatic control for less experienced roasters and a fully manual mode
• In automatic mode, either the target temperature or the roasting time is set; the unit does the rest
• In manual mode, the temperature supply is set in 100 steps and the ventilation in 10 steps automatically
• USB connection and control as well as recording of the roasting in the Artisan software. Artisan is the most popular roasting software and can be downloaded free of charge
• The roaster is Artisan-compatible. The roasting curves can be easily documented, but the roaster can also be controlled automatically via PID from Artisan.

• Stronger heating element
• In addition to the ambient temperature, the bean temperature is now also measured. Both values are shown in the display and on Artisan
• The heating element can be adjusted in 100 steps (compared to 10 steps on the old model)
• The ventilation can be adjusted in 10 steps (compared to four steps on the old model)
• The settings are made with rotary knobs and can thus be changed very quickly
• The timer can be set as ascending or descending
• The display changes colour, for example when reaching the first crack
